The Tech Awards Gala by WLOUNGE is one of the largest and most prestigious award ceremonies of the German technology industry. Often mentioned as the ‘Tech Oscars’ of Germany, the event is initiated by the WLOUNGE network and its CEO and founder, Mali M. Baum, WLOUNGE partners, and community.

This year, the patron of the The Awards Gala is the German entrepreneur and investor, Brigitte Mohn, supports the Tech Awards Gala as a patron, accompanied by other well-known partners from the private and public sectors. Under the motto "Women drive innovation", the Tech Awards 2022 will focus on the innovation strength of women and diverse teams in the tech ecosystem and highlights the German economy regarding its impact, influence, sustainability and diversity.

The prizes, which are awarded in 10 different categories, create sustainable connections between founders and pioneers by bringing together the most innovative family businesses, small and medium-sized companies, investors, Venture Capitals, Corporate Venture Capitals, politicians, start-ups, innovators, universities and other key players of the tech ecosystem. The main vision of the awards is to promote Germany's attractiveness for start-ups and tech companies, celebrating creating the winners of tomorrow and celebrating today’s most innovative and sustainable companies.
