The Tech Awards Gala by WLOUNGE is one of the largest and most prestigious award ceremonies of the German tech industry.

Often mentioned as the ‘Tech Oscars’ of Germany, the event is initiated by the WLOUNGE network and its CEO and founder, Mali M. Baum & WLOUNGE partners, and community. This year, the patron of the Tech Awards Gala #WTA2023 is Herr Kai Wegner Governing Mayor of Berlin.

The Patron of WTA2022 WAS the German entrepreneur and investor, Brigitte Mohn, Bertelsmann Foundation.

All our network and members are selected and invited, accompanied by other well-known partners from the private and public sectors.

Under the motto "Tech Defines Society. Scale Up, Make It Big", the Tech Awards 2023 will focus on the innovation strength of our ecosystem in Berlin, Germany, and Europe, Diversity as always was and will be the DNA of WLOUNGE supporting diverse teams in the tech ecosystem and highlights the German economy regarding its economical and social impact, influence, sustainability and diversity.

The prizes, which are awarded in 10 different categories, create sustainable connections between founders and pioneers by bringing together the most innovative family businesses, big, small, and medium-sized companies, investors, Venture Capitals, Corporate Venture Capitals, politicians, start-ups, innovators, universities and other key players of the tech ecosystem, this year we won the EUROPEAN COMMISSION, EIC as a partner with us on the mission.

The main vision of this Tech Awards is to promote Germany's attractiveness, for start-ups and tech companies, celebrating creating the winners of tomorrow and celebrating today’s most innovative and sustainable companies with the WLOUNGE network and partners locally and globally.
